Testimonals:
"We would just like
to say a big thank you to Tom for his brilliant instruction on Thurs 28th
April on our boat on the Lancaster Canal. His relaxed style and constant
encouragement meant not only did we learn something but we enjoyed it as
well"
Ken and Karen
Hi Richard and Karen,
unfortunately back at work but feeling great after the holiday. Just wanted
to stay thank you again for the brilliant course, we both learned so much
and Nige said it was like being on the boat with a good friend who knew
everything rather than an instructor.
Nige and Barbara
Dear Richard,
Thank you for a terrific experience on the Inland
Waterways Helmsman's course on Wednesday. We seemed to cover such a lot in
the eight hours thanks to your thorough, patient and relaxed delivery of the
course. The 'hands-on' numerous experiences of leaving the berth, berthing
and securing the narrowboat, manoeuvring in forward and reverse, turning,
speed control, using locks and tunnels, rope work, safety and engine checks
etc. gave great confidence that we would be able to deal with virtually any
situation safely, if perhaps not as elegantly, as someone with more
experience!
The scenery was beautiful and we benefited from
lovely sunny, dry weather, even though it was February. A Canal Boat Escapes
holiday is something we look forward to.
Thanks again and best wishes, Nigel. |
